Here are short reviews of the 5 most recent movies I've seen.

Pineapple Express - Great Comedy. It's no Superbad but it's hilarious. Unlike Comedies like Sarah Marshall and Tropic Thunder which disappointed me this year, I felt this film more than anything else really delivered, and from so far out of left field, I'm really not a big Seth Rogan fan. (I hated Knocked Up.)

The Machine Girl - This movie is straight up retarded. It seems like it was made by a 12 year old. There is nothing redeeming about it. There is a right way to do over the top, and that can be seen in movies like Kill Bill, and Planet Terror, but this was just regular bad. I couldn't watch more than 45 minutes of it.
Some Ol' Bullshit!

Into the Wild - This movie had it all really. It was exciting, had good and very real characters, good acting, and most importantly for me, a good ending. It comes highly highly recommended from me to you.

Burn After Reading - To be honest I was expecting more. I tried to side with Cyrus in the spill review of the movie because Coens Brothers movies are my type of movie and I know most people don't get them, but as Korey said this was just kind of "meh." I wouldn't say it was bad, but it felt like half a movie more than anything.
Matinee!

Wall E - I think what this movie's plot lacks, it's marketability makes up for. The story is simple to the point that it's almost nonexistant, but when covered up with a really long cliche kid's movie chase scene, and cute robots and love stories no one will probably notice the rushed ending. I found the character's likable, and the CG impressive, but I refuse to call this the best movie of the year. And yea that's what most kid's movies are, and it works for them. I just don't think this one lived up to the Hype.
